Letter, 1777 October 10.

In this letter, John Penn recounts the battle between Generals Washington and Howe in Germantown, Pennsylvania. On the other side of this letter (written in Penn's hand) is a copy of a letter from General Washington describing the details of the battle, including the presence of fog and the casualties.
